Working towards living more thoughtfully and sustainably
Our farm includes 40 acres of lovely pastures, native oaks and firs and seasonal creeks that we realized when we purchased it in 2021, was being overtaken by invasive weeds. In the last 1 1/2 years, we have spent hundreds of hours working to clear many acres of blackberry, thistle and burdock under the guidance of our local Soil and Water Conservation Specialist. We are in the process of using regenerative agriculture practices such as cover crops, rotational grazing, composting and no-till methods to restore the health and balance of our native ecology.
